Great Reasons (aka Excuses?) "not" to Clean-Up-Tidy-Up Our Sewing Areas ....
The flip side to the thread about how often we clean our sewing areas, would be ....
"Great Reasons (aka Excuses?) "not" to Clean-Up-Tidy-Up Our Sewing Areas ...."
Start listing them ladies and gents!! ....

My #1 would be ... if I get some time, I want to be productive, not spend it cleaning!
All to prove that I can find better things to do .....
My not-so-good #2 reason ... no one sees my sewing area.
I purposely put it on the lower level, so that I could walk out and not worry about things jumping off the table, or getting out of order, and such.
Yes, it's out-of-sight-out-of-mind for me ... and visitors!

You know, these two threads had me thinking back to when we listed our house. The place had to stay tidy all the time because we never knew when there could be a viewing. I made a point of tidying my sewing room every evening and I don't think I was ever lessproductive. It seemed like I didn't want to bring anything out because I'd just have to spend time putting it away again.
Maybe I thrive on clutter--yep that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!!

I would rather look for future projects online or work on one that's in progress than spend time cleaning, because I know I will only mess the room up again.
You guys crack me up!
