New cupboard to help in sewing room tidy

So pleased with this new cupboard I received from Freecycle. My fabrics were stored on an open shelving unit and with this I will be able to protect them from dust and fading. Will be posting some photographs of the mess which is my sewing room and then hopefully i will be shamed into tidying up and organising.Name: DSCN2000.JPG

Very nice. I'm sure you'll love it.

Nice find, and free is even better. I received a pantry cabinet from freecycle. It is packed with FQ's and my flannels, all folded neatly on foam board.

I was so pleased to be successful in my bid for this and it has spurred me on to finish sorting out my sewing/spare bedroom. Will be starting another thread showing the room before sorting, where it is at now and hopefully because I am posting it on here I will be shamed into finishing it off totally. Wish me luck

freecycle is a website designed to keep items which still have some life in them out of landfil.

you join a local group and you offer items you no longer need or you put a wanted ad in for something you have need of. Other group members ask for things they are interested in or contact you if they have something you have requested.

Here in Newcastle we have a fairly active group and I have given away quite a lot of items which I no longer needed and have been very lucky and managed to get a vintage armchair, a welsh dresser, bunk beds and the cupboard as well as a freezer and fridge for a friend.

nice cupboard! I think I would use it be my machine and use it as a pressing station.

Oh, it might be too high for that. just looked at it again.
