You didn't mention ceiling fans, and maybe you won't need one/any in your climate, but let me caution you about something---ask me how I know. A friend put in two hanging fluorescent shop-type lights in a long, narrow room, end to end, with a ceiling fan fixture in the middle, between the two light units. When the fan and lights are all on, the fan blades give a strobe-light effect and is unusable, (the blades were lower than the lights and the blades extended slightly
into part of the space under the lights. Never imagined that this would be such a problem. I've seen a lot of long arm setups with the hanging lights, so that's why I mention it. So envious of your beautiful new space. And no matter how much planning you do, there will most likely be something forgotten or something you would do differently. ENJOY
