Cas and RiverRat, we'd love to have you join us. Only one requirement . . . you must be prepared to experience side-splitting laughter. This group is full of fun and such wonderful ladies and we laugh non-stop.

Also, like Cindy mentioned, we have get-togethers several times per year, separate from the retreats. These are hosted at someone's house and are very informal: snacks, show-and-tell, snacks, laughter, more show-and-tell, more snacks, more laughter . . . etc. There isn't a set calendar for these get-togethers. Someone simply decides to host one and then will post a new thread on this section of the board. So keep an eye on the "Offline Events" section and know that new people are always welcome to this group.

I'd guess that since we just got back from retreat yesterday, the next open house get-together would probably be July or August sometime. I don't know where you are located at but the open houses have been held in Beaverton, Banks, Salem, Lebanon, and probably a few places I'm forgetting. Keep chatting with us and watch for further postings. We always enjoy the company of new friends. :0)

Thank SewCornie, sounds like fun. I love to laugh --- and eat! I pm'd UglyCook. It took a long time to find her on the member list, there are 3-4 pages of some member called Ugg Shoes or Ugge or something like that. They all look like the same member? Maybe it was an ad of some sort.

I had to look up Tangent Cbridges, it's only about an hour away! I bet we will meet sometime. I don't have much for sew and tell, do more seeing than sewing lately, lol!

I'm in redmond Oregon this sounds great, but would depend on total cost including gas if I would be able to go, anyone interested in car pooling.

It would great if you could join us. I live in Lebanon but visit friends in Redmond every few months while there is no snow on the pass. I'm going to be over there for about a week and a half at the end of July. Not sure what is happening with carpooling yet but I bet something can be worked out. I carpooled with CindyB the last time I went. I went to last years fall retreat and had a blast.
