In your original, the kayaks are the dark shape, and in your new one, the kayaks are the light shape, right? :lol:
The second one makes my eyes see curves, or round shapes. I LOVE them both!

Well--I'm thinking it's more the kayaker's view--rather than the kayak... but I see what you're talking about. :wink:

Your blocks are on the money! The colors are just right.

Just to help the way I'm visualizing what you're saying, you're going from blues to greens, like transitioning colors?

Well--maybe... the idea on that changed when I changed the quilt colors... but I'm going to see what I can do... I'm still going to attempt it. I'm getting all the darker small triangles cut now... then I'll strategize. :wink:

I noticed how light it was where I launched today--exactly what I want to try.

I like them both also and would probably do 2 quilts...1 with the original thought and then another....you do have just tons of time, don't you Karla??

Actually--since it is summer... I have a few more weeks before I have to start getting my room ready.... but those horses need work and the weeds grew in the garden again and my kayak is calling me.... :D

Funny...I seem to know that feeling! I really like what you are playing with though...oh..I mean the quilt, but I like your other playthings too! :lol:

Karla---I do like them both---but I think you are right on the money for your lake effect with the second set of blocks. This is going to be gorgeous--I cannot wait to see more.
