that's too bad Janstar. If you don't squeeze in this round, I'll betchya there's another - this is too fun to miss out on, for sure.

Have you looked into the doll quilt swap? It's probably too late for August, but I'm sure there will be another shortly thereafter - they are so fun and cute...

Thats too bad Janstar, however sometimes you know life gets in the way of the ones who are in this IRR so may we use you asa standin if required. That would be great if we could.

Elle, I hope you post pictures as you go along, I would love to watch yours progress!
Ninnie, thats a great idea about the embellishments...be sure to include a note with your top also...for instance..last time someone did a wreath (log cabin) and it will have a big red bow added to it at the end. I remember her posting a pic at the beginning, but I can see how it might have slipped someone's mind during the process. The top could take a turn during the year away from the original "theme" of the quilt. That might be ok...or it might not

I am not joining the IRR this time ( I still have the final border to add to the current one) but I will be following the thread. Coletta your panels are absolutely beautiful but I have to say I'm a long time fan of Thomas Kinkade.
That is going to be lovely.
Terri, I love your kitty card idea, what a cute center it will make.
Have fun all of you, I look forward to where this goes.

k3n, have a wonderful holiday! I miss you already!

I washed and ironed about 20 FQ's last night in anticipation of working on my center. What a pain! I'm glad that I was taught not to prewash. LOL.

I think one of mine will fit into this category. Still havent got it fully worked out, but I'm thinking puffy purple flowers, and I'm thinking on point, but to put the flowers themselves on when the top returns, so save the bulk. I'd send a couple of the flowers loose to match colours to though, and a colour print out of the design laid out. Does this sound OK?
