Its beautiful Elle. I really like your patterns. I am working on a quilt right now that needs some flowers similar to what you have done. Could you tell me what pattern you are using? I love all your blocks and know that the darker color you are using will really set them off. I have a couple of fat cats here and like yours also. Thanks!

Did you lay material beside the quilt to see how it looks? I would try the hot pink or dark green like you have in the blocks. If you don't want it to look so bright maybe a lighter sage green from the patterns would tone it down. The narrow border would keep with the look of the quilt. Just adding my two cents worth.

So pretty and so much work and love you have in the quilt. Can't wait to see the final project with the darker border.

Thank you everyone for your colour advice and I am going to buy some dark green, but will probably have to go to Malaga to get it, as you know the shops here are few and far between, but it will be worth it. You are all right about the dark green it works really well, so its given me the incentive to do a bit more as I was lagging on this. Elle :)

Hi Sandpat, the quilt is called Rose Cottage, and a friend let me borrow the patterns, I have used some and put my own slant on some others.
I you would like the flower patterns tell me which you would like and if I can have your address I will copy and send them to you okay, Elle
