Thank you all for your kind comments. I have learned so much from this group. I love to go back and admire all the blocks you have completed.

Gorgeous! I've been watching the individual blocks as they've been posted, but this is the first I've seen put together. Pretty spectacular!

This is my first time working with black and I love it. No problems at all.

    me too, DuckDuck! :XD:
I fell in love with Lesley's colors, then Elle's, then Patti's and so on and on...
ann clare, your blocks all just pop off the fabric! they are so yummy! :D
When I took my completed top to our quilt meeting Thursday night, Florence (Flossy) had her blocks with her. She put her blocks over the top of my matching ones and they fitted right in. It was funny to see them surrounded by the rest of mine.

Here's my center again with lace border attached. Deecee, I took your advice and did a little re-dye work. It's still not what I would have liked, but I was afraid to do any more or really muddy the colors.

I just noticed that my top is sideways in the photo..

I love the kind of "variegated" look to it and the softness, rox!
This idea was a winner!

It looks great - a nice solution to the lack of available border prints. Well done.
