    Love your center, Kathy. And can't wait to see others that might get posted this week. What a fun week this might be. And you people who haven't seen Kathy's borders yet - you just wait - they are awesome - you have a real treat in store for you.

    OK, here is a pic of the center unit with the first border on. I am getting ready to stitch the next borders on when I finish playing here. Quilted DH's Black/white/red log cabin & have the binding machine sewn on. Will start hand-stitching it tonight while watching TV.

    The shark tooth borders are easy & kinda fun to do. I did do a tute on making them - it's really easy & very easy to get it to fit your edge perfectly. A little variation in the length between the vertical cuts doesn't show. Some of mine on this next one are 1/8" longer & you can't tell. I like something that is easy to fudge on!

    Today's project is to get the biggie border cut out, pieced together & marked. I have designed the border & the embroidery. This time I think I'm going to embroider it first, then applique. After that, it's another shark-tooth border & binding!

    Anxiously awaiting more pics of center units!!!! :lol:
