    Patti your work is outstanding.
LBB is a new learning curve as it should be.
    You can do it :)

Pat, I am sure you can do LBB, you are very skilled. But I am with you...must finish AOTH first..and most likely I won't be playing LBB.

I tried to do reverse applique using my heart striped fabric. I spent 2 weeks being very bored and I wasn't happy with the results. I had only completed 2 side borders and when I thought about the larger inner border, I knew for sure I would lose it. Went back to the drawing board, went to LQS, bought new fabric and I sewed on my borders this afternoon. The fabric is totally different but I hope the gold in the fabric will bring out the embroidery threads.

Losie, I think it s beautiful! Love that border fabric. I also thought that using a metallic border will bring the metallic in the embroidery,so surely since you and I had the same idea, it just has to be true, lol.

Losie...I love that! Wise choice my dear!

Remember, that border is only a narrow little thing and soooo not worth obsessing about IMHO. If you didn't enjoy what you were doing...you made the RIGHT choice to change!....and what a RIGHT choice you made!
