I think you did a fabulous job on it. I hope he grows up and chooses that quilt as his favorite like many I have given as gifts....they are at first ignored by the parent but later chosen by the child. It's an awesome feeling. Wish your quilt had been appreciated by the parents from the start....(((((((hugs))))))

another case of NOT knowing what goes in to a quilt...I love it and it should fit in their theme very well...good job

Its adorable! I made a quilt for one of my newborn grands,,,went to visit 3 weeks later and it was laying on their porch with the dogs sleeping on it. Now I am very careful who I bother to make quilts for!

Your quilt is beautiful! Lucky baby!!As I have gotten older I have realized some people just don't realize the work that goes into quilts, weaving etc. Thank you for posting, you incorporated the theme into the quilt quite nicely. Debbie

Adorable quilt and beautiful flower garden in the background. You should be proud of both.
Congrats, Kutnso

The quilt is beautiful. The problem is nobody but a quilter realize just how much work time and ourselves go into making one. It is sad but happens.

The young mother may not appreciate it but as the baby grows into your quilt, he will know and love it. My boys love the quilts with bold colors over all the soft pastels. I love the Monkeys.

Maybe they just don't appreciate all the hard work and love that you put into it. Just know in your heart that you made it with love, and you are giving that baby a big HUG when he uses it.

I think it is very pretty and you did a great job on it!

Years ago I knitted a blanket for my cousin's daughter's baby. She received several fleece blankets which were OOO'd and AHHH'd over. However, the reward came later in the fact that my knitted blanket was in every photo of her baby and I was told it was her favorite. It doesn't matter what others think as long as the one you gave it to appreciates it.
