I think it will be great! Have you tried laying out your log cabin blocks on top of the fabric for the stars? You'll only see the squares unless you pin back the corners of the sashing part that makes the stars. Then you can take a picture of it and see how it will look. I make most of my decisions that way. :)

I love the brown, blue and cream. Am making some things for my daughters bedroom in this color scheme.
