    Jan, I have learnt just to be resourceful, there was only 2 baby blue fabrics in the only four shops I could find, and they were the wrong shade...so gotta use whatever I can lay my hands on...DH has locked his wardrobe now :lol:

    Izy, Thanks for you good wishes, if I could get rid of this muzzy head and caugh I would be fine, got my appetite back though Ha ha, that never takes long LOL

    Wonder what Santa will bring you ....... fa la la la la la

    Izy, that turned out absolutely wonderful!! I am impressed at how fast you whipped that up! Looks great! LOL about DH locking you out of his closet!!!

    I have been REALLY good, and not peeked at all (which is amazing for me tee hee!!) Its stuck right at the back of the tree......so will be the last pressie I open, thank you my friend :D

    Practice makes perfect, and I have given myself plenty of that..my poor machine needs a service now poor baby :D

    Well it is having a well deserved rest over christmas...and me lol!!

    Thanks Jim's Gem...well I think you have gathered by now how scarce fabrics are here in Spain...When I went to the ONE charity shop we have, and bought about six shirts with one in particular that I liked, it is black with a blue and white stripe, really striking, straight away I thought that would make a lovely border......well DH asked me what I had in the bag, so fessed up about buying shirts for patchwork..guess which one he took a shine to?.... yep DH has it hanging in his closet...for now anyway :lol:

    Those pictures are terrific. The quilt couldn't have turned out any nicer. I hope you enjoyed your cup of tea!! :D
