Why not use a narrow border of the fabric in the fans? If you did it real narrow (about a 1/2" finished, it would compliment the fans rather than take away from them.

Your blocks are beautiful. :thumbup:

Beautiful. Definately needs sashing, gold might make it look very elegant. Try some out of both green and gold and see which one you like best.

I think I'd either go with green or gold sashing.... I like the way sashing generally sets off the blocks. These blocks are gorgeous!

Moss green might work.
I agree with green, but you'll know after you audition using fan fabric print, or pink, or gold, in a narrow sashing. Blocks are beautiful-keep them the focus.

Needs sashing, but the color is up to you. IMO gold would really make those fans pop.

Gold would be great! If I had enuf of the gold I just used on an oriental quilt I'd send it to u! Love it! Did u make pattern up? If not would u pm me the name? Have tons of oriental scraps and fab left!!!
