I would piece them as is and do some nice decorative stitching down each side of the seams... in color of choice... for me it would be cream, silver grey, or gold...just a thought! B

well, I bought the fabric pre-cut on ebay so there is no more. I was thinking green or gold because that's already in there and would be simpler to match. I really like the fans, though!

Guess I'm diferent also. I like the black as is. It makes the fans float and will leave a nice area for elaborate quilting when the blocks are joined. A nice tassel hanging from each fan would also be nice. Then I would use the floral for a wide border.
