I just love the front of that quilt! The back side isn't bad either. You did a great job on the quilt and your niece will just love it!

What a great job!! But I've got a question, I've done QAYG also, but my finished strips are only about 1 inch because of the measurements and the fold-over etc etc. I usually use 1/1/4 single layer on the top and 2-1/4 on the back, folded. Yours are much more part of the design and look bigger than that. Could you explain how you managed such a BIG strip inbetween each section. I guess you'd have to start out with bigger strips to begin with and then start sewing further over..... instead of a 1/4 inch seam, maybe 1/2 or 3/4? Then how big are the strips?

That is such a darn clever idea to do the B&W on one side and the color on the other.....just my kind of quilt!

I love your black & white quilt!! The fabrics you chose are really great. Love your CPA humor in the label.

Love it! (But I would probably have slipped a tiny bit of red in somewhere!) I think your FMQ looks fabulous! Give yourself a break. And the label is just too wonderful! Having survived many annual audits over the years, I can certainly appreciate all errors that are not material!

I'm not a fan of black and white quilts either , or any other two color quilts, but this has me seeing possiblities ! You know you did a good job when I like a B&W quilt.
FYI -your free motion looks pretty good to me!
