Bargello quilts are so stunning and impressive. However, because I'd had the same reason for my reluctance to tackle a bargello, I took a twisted bargello class at my LQS. Surprisingly, it really isn't very difficult at all! Once I had my fabric selected (the class members helped one another with this part), I was ready to roll with the project. I did discover that piecing together a bargello does require time, some concentration and lots of organization. Our instructor was so good at breaking the project down into manageable quadrants, making it much less daunting! I encourage you to give it a try --

If You set up the strips into stacks , could You just keep sewing one stack after another into one big strip or until You are quitting for the night. and then just separate the strips ,and then are ready to sew together.
