A boo boo--I know better

So I posted the pic--you can clearly see the waves. This is not what to do. Always measure three times to get your side border measurements. Seam ripper here I come. I recently quilted a quilt for someone who did not measure and it was a bear on the side borders! See how well I know this but short cut--no way no more! Making more work for myself. But I will have a better product. I had hoped to put this one in our local fair in Aug but not like that! LOL

Thank you for posting this, it must have been hard to! I really appreciate it because I was about to do the same thing, now I will re-evaluate the situation. You saved me from this dreaded problem!!!

That is a beautiful quilt and whatever you decide to do with the borders, it will still all be gorgeous. Don't feel bad about the mistake though. I'm assuming you're a veteran quilter and feel like you should be above a mistake like that, but we all have our moments. And those dang mitered corners are a pain in the rear!!!
Check out this bad boy picture below. You wanna talk about waves. :) I didn't redo, just hoped it would "quilt out". Second picture is an after picture.
Best wishes for whatever you decide!
