I like the purple with it. The sashing adds something and makes the stars stand out. Make at least a 3" border I would say.

Both ways are very pretty but totally different. I'm a fan of secondary designs so I vote no borders. Of course, if the person it is for just happens to love purple or it needs to be bigger, that's gorgeous choic, too.

Don't you just hate wishy washy advice?
