Looks like red, blue, red wins and I agree. I'd make the first (red) border the same size as the sashing. It's elegant!

This is lovely and in keeping with the Asian character of the fabric. If you put a read border and then a blue one on the quilt I think it might "Americanize" it. I would be tempted to just put a blue border around it. If you have enough fabric you could to a border made of squares of all the different blue fabrics and that would help them all pop.

I like the quilt just like it is. If I were adding borders, I would probably do a small red border, then the blue.

I would use a red border the same size as the sashing and then a wider navy border. I always like to use a small border around a quilt before adding my lareger borders. It frames it all up for me.

Using your prints, skinny red followed by wider blue and bind in a different blue.
