This is a lovely quilt! But I must say, when I saw the title, I was looking for swirling skirts. ;o) BTW, I'm a much better contra dancer than I am quilter!

Wow....that is absolutely gorgeous! My friend made a similar one where she had to cut hers apart after assembly then reassemble. She had the same feelings too about cutting it once it was sewn together. Once she finally got the nerve and did it she loved it and then went on to make another one. Hers was a different pattern than yours but the same concept. I really like your color choices.
