I think it will make a great baby quilt. The baby will love the colors, and if you use them both then either side can be used for the front, and can even be rotated between the two for variety. Some future time it could become a wall hanging, but the child may well want to keep it as their own even when grown.

I agree! Lots of "modern" moms nowadays like more "sophisticated" (for lack of a better word) things for their nurseries. I think either (or both) of these would be perfect for babies!

I love twisters and yours is stunning. I agree with most everyone else -- first one is definitely a wall hanging and your plan for quilting it is right on. Two wonderful projects to enjoy.

I would make two quilts. I'd put black on the back and use glow in the dark thread on the twister and give it to the baby.

Then make the other one into a wall hanging.

Yes, for the right parents it would be the perfect baby quilt. The reason I know this is my daughter, who just had her first child, a boy, last Thursday would absolutely love those colors and that design! I wouldn't give it to someone unless you knew they would love it, but if you are selling it then just let the buyer decide if it's right for the recipient.
    I think it's very prettty!

Oh, I haven't thought of glow in the dark -what a neat idea.
