Brilliant idea, just hang a quilt over the opening and your hubby won't notice the hole. :)

Not me my DH is the one that figures out how to do what I want to do. He has construction background and when I dream up a project he tells me how to do it so it works the way I want it to.

I will be interested to see how your project turns out!! Are you going to have to remove some studs? Looks like it.

Um...that's not a load-bearing wall, is it? LOL You may want to figure that out before removing the studs.
