Disappointed in whole-cloth quilt...
#82
I think it is very beautiful and I do agree with the others - I see the stitching (in fact, wish I could get a better picture posted to see the medallion on the center). I am sorry you are disappointed in your quilt - if it were mine you would hear me crowing from the roof.
I do like the idea of a whole cloth done in varigated thread - that would be interesting to see.

*Edited to add* If you're really that disappointed, I'd be happy to take it off your hands. :)

Loretta,
How about hanging it as a curtain for the winter? My aunt uses clip-on rings and hers and they look amazing in the lamplight.
She says they cut down her utility bolls in the winter months... she's in Connecticut.
Your quilting is beautiful!!

Yes, you can see the stitching. And it is an heirloom to be treasured. Listen to your friends here. We all love it. You are to be commended...someone in this day and age of rushing around takes the time to do a handmade masterpiece like this! Take pride and keep up the good work! It is not a white blob but a wonderful testament to women like you to link us to the past. I would never have that kind of patience!!!
