I've heard that a messy workspace is a sign of creative genius!

You girls have made me feel right at home here...
Even those of you that a "a bit neat".. i totally undestand that..I have 2 girls in my quilt group... one that says i've "loosened her up"...and the other seeks me out to help her be "more creative and think out of the box"..
I will be posting some of my "crazy made up stuff"... again. thanks for he support.. bj

Yes, I do make messes when I work. However, when I finish one project I can't make myself start another until everything is tidied up again. Even after finishing a customer's quilt I put all rulers, thread, bobbins, etc. back in their place even if I am going to use them on the next quilt. I even vacuum the floor before I start another project. I know, I know, its crazy but its me. I have to start clean or I can't function. Now I'm in hiding until the paperwads stop.

I like the metal shelving you have - but I think I would like to put a shelf in the vertical position and hang patterns, material rulers ect from it with s hooks. I have no more wall space - so that would solve an organizing problem for me. what do you think?

Mine is a mess too along with my kitchen. Somehow it overflows out to the kitchen. I try so hard to be organized but I don't have those qualities. As long as the house is clean I guess a little clutter doesn't matter much. If anyone comes to my house they better give me a hour or two notice! LOL
