Ditto. I can't work in a mess. Must be my training at home. Mom was a fanatic. She didn't pass it all on to me, but some times I think quite a bit of it came to me and stuck. I don't like it but that's the way it is.

A girl after my own heart....I maintain that this is not mess it is work in progress. I had a person report my 'mess' to the whole neighbourhood - so she's not invited in any more. It's nice to see a working room.

Mess? I call it "genius at work". How can you create something and keep the work area neat. It starts that way, but ends up a mess. Nice thing (for me) I can't start a new project until the "mess" is picked up.
