Beautiful colors and design. Congrats on a great finish. It's always a happy feeling to be done finally.

The quilt turned out just beautiful. I love the colors you chose. It really has a life of it's own. Job well done.

Very pretty. The quilting police should not exist in a free quilting society.

Very beautiful quilt. I like the bright colors on the black background. I hope you will enjoy it hanging on your wall. I can't think of a nicer place for it to be. Your workmanship is wonderful.

What a great job you did! Love your color combinations and the accents around the main star. Definitely hang it so that you can see it every day when you wake up - you should be so proud!

Thank you. The pattern came from a book in my local library, lone Star Quilts & Beyond, I think. I’ll have to check on the author. She called this variation Summer Salsa.

Having seen some of the fabulous quilts made by those who have posted about mine, I really cherish your compliments. You have created true works of art, so your comments are truly meaningful to me. Thank you!

I have that pattern and it is on my to do list. Hope mine turns out half as pretty as yours. Amazing especially since it is your first star attempt. I wouldn't attempt this as piecing. Well done.
