Can you see my tears? What an awesome MIL you are to recognize the efforts and love you DDIL has for her child and your DGS. You are correct, it is a difficult job, but this quilt will be a constant reminder that it is the correct thing to do in their circumstance. Recognition and praise go a long way to motivate a person. Too often people are only criticized when something is not done correctly, instead of praising for all the good they do. Bravo to both of you!
