I got tears just looking at your quilt and your description. Then they rolled when I read your note. You and I are blessed with amazing, wonderful DIL's. Mine too loves my quilts. Bless you and thank you for sharing this beautiful quilt! I would have never have thought of embroidering in a border. Love it!

Tears here. In this world today, it's getting harder to see and "feel" love even from family.I wish I had had a mother like you, the closest I came to it,was with my MIL(deceased now) Unfortunately the time I got to have her in my life was short. I saw and felt total love in this that you posted. While the quilt is absolutely one of the loveliest, beautiful quilt, I got to see the beauty of love flow from you to DDIL, to grandchild and your son for his choice of a wife.Beautiful circle of love.True treasure, just like the quilt she will cherish forever.Thank you so very much for sharing all of this. I wanted to add because I forgot and clicked first, please take care of yourself, and your heart.Do what needs to be done, and suggested by doctor.

This story is just so touching and your note to her is just so precious. It is good to put our thoughts into words and given to people so they know how special and how loved they are. Your quilt is so just a prefect gift. You sound like you have a wonderful family!

Oh my that is a special gift. I just love the time you took to both design the quilt and to convey your message and love. I can see why your DDIL is pleased. It's high praise when they share a gift received with friends (FB). I love what you came up with. I hope you feel better and stronger soon.
