I love what you have done!!! I think leaving a space like that between the rows of quilting is perfect!!! You get a space to do some free form quilting now  :D:D:D

Yup, sounds good. I haven't decided yet either...They have an oven and a fridge there. I'll probably pick up some sodas, and I was thinking some sort of cheese/fruit. Maybe brie and breadsticks? I'll figure it out at the store! You are packed already? good on ya. Bet you wish you could bring the big girl with you, eh?

Same here... I'll see what looks good at the store. I hadn't thought about drinks though.

Sure do wish I could bring her! It is going surprisingly fast, the middle row showing is half way through the quilt and I've done hardly any time on it.

I need to find some reasonably priced patterns.

I know we'll have fun though it's not a class. It's a Sew Much Fun Friday where you just bring whatever you want to work on and a snack to share and sew your heart out from 1:30pm to 10:00pm.

Looks good Pam. I still concider myself a novice on my machine (not longarm but on a frame) and I use those for some quilts. I started out about as far apart as yours is and am slowly learning how to get it closer together and be uniform. I am sure you will catch on much faster than me. Have fun and enjoy your new "toy".
