How exciting Pam, its working, yeahhhh... I can't wait till you pick up speed. Let me know if you want something to practice on. I think those hearts look great! Did you get a lot of piecing done the other night?

Thanks all. :D It's pretty basic so far, going to be along time, if ever, to approach the wonderful long arm work I've seen here. I have at least 10 quilt tops that I need to do, ordered backing for 3 more last night, and I need to get a roll of batting and stock up on thread. I might take in work for practice, who knows? I just don't want to mess up anyone else's hard work.

I finished the Sugar Bowl blocks for the blue quilt while at the Sew Much Fun Friday meeting. I got the top almost all sewn together yesterday and today. It was fun. :D A little chatting, a little snacking, and listening to all the conversation going on.

Wow, love your quilt and you are doing great on your first quilting with your long arm! Practice Practice

You must have a big house to have room for it.

Sure is purdy!

What line of fabric did yo use on here? I like the colors and the quilting looks great.

Bet it was scary to do your first LAQ.

I have a 5 bedroom house but it's not that large really. Three of the bedrooms are pretty small, something like 10'x12', and I want to take the 3 bedrooms on one side of the hallway and make them 2 larger rooms. The frame barely fits in this room.

The fabric is Fig & Plum by Fig Tree.

Pam that is beautiful! I'm sorry about the back though - tension issues maybe? Re the binding, how about something to match the burgundy? I think that would really frame it up a treat. :-D

Yes, I assume it is tension issues with the bobbin. That was the third time I put in a new bobbin while quilting it and there must have been something wrong with that last one. I'm just glad that the majority of it is OK.

The burgundy would look nice but I am 99% sure that I don't have any more of this collection or any fabric in these colors and I don't want to buy any. I'll have to see what I have that will look good with it.
