I pray he comes back to you as well... he needs someone who will love him and clearly that is you. Bless you. and yes he will love that quilt because he knows you love him. Bless you both.

My heart understands very well. Our family, too, had that special foster child that we loved and adored. Had her 3 different times, but due to insane caseworker she went to live with an aunt across the US. Your quilt is beautiful. Hang in there, with time it gets easier. He will forever be in your heart, I know!

I know your heart is breaking and this is your way of sending a piece of your heart with him. Just remember what a stablity
you have given to his life. I know you feel fortunate to have had him as a part of your life but he has been just as fortunate to have had you in his life. Just keep him in your prayers and let him know when he is grown, you would love to see him again and that you will always have him in your heart.

The first time he left I didn't know how to quilt so I took him to build a bear workshop where he chose to make Elmo. When he came back, he was only able to bring one thing with him and he came with a very well loved Elmo. I hope he loves this present just as much, and more than that I hope (please forgive me) that he comes back to me.

Darling! I hope he loves it as much as I do! Owls are so popular right now. Nice job!

Reading your post really made me stop and say a prayer; It is wonderful that you were able to assist this child and show him love and support...giving him hope. I really believe that he will continue to enter your life and your paths will cross forever. Thank you for sharing and it is a beautiful quilt.
