    Ekuw, thank you for the information about stitching in the ditch to secure all the units before you started the quilting. It makes a great deal of common sense. I'm going to a ruler workshop on Thursday and will be using spray basting for the quilting sandwiches on which we'll be practicing.

    That's really nice! I like the contrast of the quilted swirls with the quilted squares. The swirls draw your eye to the star blocks and the squares quilted around the square in a square block set those blocks off nicely and help move your eyes around the quilt.

    It's a beautiful quilt, and i love the backing, very pretty. I love the swirls, they give it a rich texture.
