Love the oolors. Fantastic work. By the way, what does the term "bargello' mean. Too lazy to look it up.

My machine quilter uses this panto on most all my trip around the world type quilts and bargellos. It called stained glass. I think. she overlaps the pattern for me or it would have a lot of empty space.

I like this. I've yet to make a bargello, and I may have to give it a try after this. This is beautiful.

Thanks, it's a good tip. I don't long arm or have stuff long armed but I guess you could apply it to regular MQ too! :-D

K I have been using a pattern kind of like this on my quilts for kids in the blocks. I start a one corner of the quilt and if it a four patch, I do a wave from corner to corner and continue to the opposite corner. turn the quilt and go back to the beginning corner. Sometimes I turn the quilt the opposite diagonal, and when they meet if forms and nice pattern reminds me of a flower.

Barb your bargellos are beautiful. I would be interested in your tute on one of these patterns. I have been fascinated with most bargello patterns.
