I never go into WalMart, but I did, and they had this one at $1 a yard. I finished the bolt, 7 yards, and about 24 inches. The poor boy from Electronics (there are no sewing girls there anymore) gave me everything at half price since I finished the bolt. :) I got it all for 3.50!! :D I'm so in on this one now!

I agree completely!! How wide is that little yellow bit? It sure makes all the difference in the world in your borders!
Both you, Colleen and Olga have done a wonderful job on your OBWs.

Beautiful cubes Olga - just one correction - the one at the top of the group of 4 with the skinny edges needs turning so that the light face is on top, same as all the others - you need to be sure that you light source is coming from the same direction all over the quilt. :-D PS you asked me about borders - I would do a skinny dark brown to frame the whole thing then perhaps a gold for the outer border. :-D

Well, I havent' gotten mine finished....yet. Things came up and Ihaven't done much sewing in the last week :( . Will finish them after my trip and mail them back to my sister and niece. I'm really wanting to get them done now and move on. When a project gets to old I feel like I've got something "hanging over my head" :?
