Ok, here are some of my blocks on a wall. I think when I take them out I just get so overwhelmed because I end up with so many colors on each block that it is hard for me to decide how to transition.

The picture flipped. that brown is the top of door frame

Doesn't that tablecloth and hanger thing work great? lol, Wow, your original fabric must have been beautiful. What great colors in your blocks. I think it's amazing with these OBWs how simply turning the photo changes the look so much. I really like how it looks with the door frame to the left. Smiles

Julie, your blocks are beautiful! Stay with it, and you will be happy with the results. It IS a bit daunting to see all your choices! You are on your way.

I know I'm not in this OBW sew along so after this I will quit posting my pics, but I wanted to show you what I came up with.

If I hadn't found this thread these would probably still be laying in a pile. I'm not going to dwell on them long. I'm going to spend a day or so looking and rearranging and then SEW THIS PUPPY UP!!!! (Saturday or Sunday)

Thanks for being so helpful and supportive

Julie, I love your final layout! I think it looks fantastic! You know you can also just use 1/2 the hex and but it up to another 1/2 hex horizontally and make a border with it...I did that for an IRR last year. I think it turned out great too.
