And Deb, I agree with Katrine - get the book, read it through once first then get the fabric, book open at the side of you, follow the instructions step by step - easy as pie! And post your progress and we'll all interfere - I mean, HELP!

How do you quilt a OBW?
I am not good at FMQ but am considering an all over wavy pattern of quilting. Maybe SID around each hexagon but that is a lot of stitching.... What do you do? I have seen a lot of OBW pictures but cannot tell just how they are quilted.

Relax and you will have a blast, each one is a masterpiece I tryed for months just looking at everyones quilts, messed up and when I got the book it was easy. There is a tutorial you tube about how to connect the blocks that was very helpfull, but you do need the book. It is so fun, so just enjoy, it is a very forgiving pattern, there is so much motion you don't notice the small stuff. No need to clutch just sew. Please post pics!
