GOM gets very grumpy if anyone suggests someone else quilt his quilts!! He doesn't think its "his" quilt if anyone else works on it, so I just say nothing, and let him get on with it, unless he asks me for help.

Yes, there is that aspect!!! My view is we shouldn't all be the same, he is different, and that's ok with me.

funny you should say that - he is grinning from ear to ear, and I think the comments on this site have inspired him. He will definitely be finishing this off, just as soon as we hire a truck to bring home the batting he will need!!

I'm passing on all these comments, and he is really thrilled with them. So, although I would love to send this to you, I think I am going to lose my bet, he is going to quilt it!!

Yes indeed Oma66, he did design it himself. He's has made a few quilts now, and always designs them himself.

Its not one of mine, its my hubbys, and there is no particular pattern - just a bunch of colourful blocks which he made and sewed together in a symmetrical format.

Hi Olebat - thank you so much for your comments. Be assured I am out of the way - I never interfere with anyone's creativity. He'll quilt it (he likes to do things himself) in his own good time.
