Ha Ha ....my messy sewing/dining room
#13
before my sewing room, I had to work on the dining room table too. I hated having to always set up and then put everything away whenever we were entertaining.
But sometimes, this might be the only room we have and we certainly use it to it's best capacity and produce some GORGEOUS quilts and projects!!!
This is your happy space so enjoy every ounce of it!!!!!!!!! BTW I love the colours of fabrics you have on your cabinet! Very yummy looking :)

I sew in my dining room ---actually it's my sewing room---we eat in the kitchen. I try to keep my sewing room half-way decent, but it's not the tidiest place. One of my 'crafty' friends has stuff all over the place and she's as happy as a clam sitting in the middle of it.
To each his own---are you happy there?---if you are then it's perfect.

I used to have a lovely messy corner just like that, however house is getting tidied up due to the wedding very soon, so I have had to get a piece of furniture to store everything away and make things look better, thats now in the top bedroom. But heck I still have to sew so when I start sewing the living room becomes a total mess now, so can't really win.

My sewing space is sooo bad that my friend had to drag her daughter over to actually "see" where I was doing my sewing...she won't let her DH see it though
You need to keep it lots more messy so that you can have plenty of reasons to "take over" an extra bedroom...or heck, just start sleeping on the couch and take over your own bedroom!

It's about comfort and necessity. I'm glad you shared your space. Makes it that much more convenient to multi-task! HA HA
Little did I know when I had my three kids that I subconsciously planned to take over their bedroom spaces as soon as I could. Just as fast as they left, I decided to take up quilting. Now no matter where we live, all I ask for is a quilting space.

I think your diniing room is pretty! You are nicely organized and clean in there, it isn't a mess to me. What are ya working on?
I have a sewing room, but the closets in both of the other spare rooms and the little dressers are full of my sewing/crocheting supples too. Plus I had to get rid of a twin beds set to set up my quilting table. So, I can relate to your dining room being like that but in other rooms of the house. LOL!
