I love it! Is this made with half square triangles?

What a wonderful quilt for a baby! Great gift for your co-worker. I've never cared much for chevron quilts but I love your half chevrons! And love the polka dots!

What a cute quilt that made by using all polka dots.

Bonnie, yes it is. The nice thing is that I use the "two squares sewn diagonally and cut down the middle" method, which gives you two half square triangles, which makes one unit of the chevron. I hope that's clear. I used eight fat quarters for the body and had enough fabric left over, I made the piano keys border from the rest. Originally I thought it was like a braid pattern, with the pieces cut with diagonal ends.

Thanks, Rainy. I really liked the one you showed. I couldn't figure out what to call it - Half Zig? Half Zag? Because I think "zigzag" not "chevron" when I see that pattern. Then I remembered "chevron," so that's what I called it.
