I made a small EPP wall hanging. But, I've said many times that if I knew how to do this when my kids were young and in sports; I'd have several full size quilts around!

YOu can buy bags of the hexagons. They come in all different sizes, and are reusable.

Congratulations. Welcome to English pieced patchwork. It is nice and easy to do and grows very quickly. It is also useful to use this method when you are creating blocks that have a lot of very tiny pieces in them.

Hi Ginnie: Where is Spring Industries in Ft. Mill? I live in SC and go to Charlotte quite often to visit relatives. Would love to shop for fabric at that store...
Thanks

And my application and dues are in the mail. I planned on joining last night but wouldn't you know it the atm was down and I didn't have time to go to another one before the meeting and of course I didn't have the checkbook. There were a LOT of people there last night. They said they made 97 of the little kits they gave out for the hexagon and they used all of them. There are usually about 80 at the meetings they said. I've tossed the idea about joining around for a year now and hopefully this will be something I enjoy.

Trust me they are very addictive. I have adapted mine to
QAYG so I am always with a needle in hand!

Love paper piecing. Others probably know but there is a site called Paper Pieces.com that sell many different pieces for quite reasonable prices with very good customer service.I usually projects going since they are easy to slip into my purse for "waiting moments".
There is a woman in my guild making a grandmothers flower garden in which each flower has a theme--center and petals are coordinated like dogs, cats, food with appropriate condiments etc. It is gorgeous!!!
