I am looking for a peach color and a darker skin tone for african american doll bodies, although when I asked the American Cancer Society office manager (for our small ACS, that accepts my dolls,) if she needed different skin colors and she told me the little kids don't seem to care what color the skin tone is. I'm thinking they may have good hearts despite their cancer situations.

Check out FreeCycle, and tell what it is going to be made and
who will get it. I'll bet you get masses of fabric donated. Most
people will deliver if it is for sick children.

Your doll is so cute. I have made dolls form a web called rag dolls to love, inc. they have a web with a free doll pattern.
If you ever need more fabric. pm me. I would be glad to donate. My grandsons has spent many hours at the local childrens hospitals and cleveland clinic. They don't have cancer but it is scarry for any child to go to the hospital and they start sticking them.

GOOD WORK!!! I know ;you didn't show us this for praises but we root you on.

Thanks so much. The thing I am shortest on all the time is skin tone fabric, but any and all donations are beyond welcome, if you have something to spare. I will be happy to pm you with my address if you wish to have it and i will check out the rag doll thing. THat might be ideal for the very small children with cancer. Thanks so much for the kindness of your heart and your taking time to write me. Hugs to you and yours. I love Beverly Lewis books and also Debbie Macomber books...also Janette Oaks. I will be 70 next Sunday. WHEW...where does the time go???

    Thanks again.

Thanks. My hubby goes on with life watching me sewing these dolls, and bless his heart, he never ever complaints. He said he would never begrude what is done for the precious little ones with cancer. I am a blessed woman to be able to do this.

    Thanks again
