Grumpy old man! Your quilt is gorgeous and I am sending you a big hug and sticking out my tongue at that old man.

That man doesn't know what he's talking about. I'd ignore people like him. Your quilt is fabulous and the quilting is perfect for it. I have always wanted to do a scrappy triple irish chain. I did just finish blocks for a double irish baby size.

Big mouth + small brain = not worth your time. (He's jealous because nobody ever gave him a quilt that nice)

Great job and enjoy your beautiful quilt.

Your quilt is Stunning!! My grandmother always told me if you don't have something good to say then don't say anything at all. Too bad that gentleman didn't learn this a long time ago.

He was jealous... and rude... I don't care how old he was... being rude is not acceptable...
Your quilt is gorgeous...and by the way ... in the past, SCRAPS of NEW fabric was used to make quilts in the olden days... Only when fabric wasn't available did women use old clothing and it was only the BEST part of the garment... He was just UNedjamacated on the proper fabrics to use in a quilt. ...

That was probably what his mother did and that's all he knows. He's just a miserable old coot! I have a close friend who is so ultra frugal that she is insulting. Even though I've known her for 45 years, I just stay away from her because I'm tired being insulted just because I choose to spend $$ fabric for quilting instead of going to the thrift store for old clothes to use as material. Your quilt is gorgeous, you have a wonderful talent.

Hugs to you! He was the small one, though, not you. He demonstrated his mental size when he opened his mouth.

He was, simply put, a jerk.

Oh! Let me translate, that was Grumpy for
"WOW, what a GORGEOUS quilt... I love it! I wish I had one tiny bit of your talent. But I don't... so I have to grump at others instead."

;-)

Really, it's beautiful.
