We had a moose walk right in the middle of the city last week. He was found walking through the Avalon Mall parking lot.. Guess he was looking to do a bit of shopping!!! LOL He made the news!! Moose are VERY VERY popular around here... There are sooo many car accidents involving moose on our highways its incredible!! If you hit one, consider your car TOAST... and hopefully you will get out yourself with your own life.. Many people have lost their own lives from hitting moose. Moose have been spotted running down major roads here in St. John's .. mostly from Spring to Fall. they have to tranquilize them to get them down so authorities can get them back into the woods safely.

I used to watch that tv show "Northern Exposure" and they always showed moose walking down the streets but always thought just a tv thing. That is just too cool!

That picture is awesome. Thanks for sharing. We have had several deer just laying around our yard since we moved here-I love it! We also have an armadillo that loves to root in the flower bed for bugs-not so cute!

OK the big gray blob is the shy Mama! Didn't want to get to close because
she was getting nervous. They are very protective of the babies as all Mamas
are!

Oh they are georgous, what an experience. I also remember the opening scene of Northern Exposure with the moose, thought it was a great program. Someone on here told me it wasn't filmed in Alaska, much to my disappointment :(
Your so lucky to have them come in so close, of course not so lucky for the tulips, hope they don't eat the bulbs as they are poisonious.

We have a fox that appears & sits in the middle of our road some Saturday's just as the football results are coming on the TV. I said to DH I wonder which team he supports.

Please can I come over for a holiday :P I promise to bring you some extra tulips.
