As usual, the quilts are beautiful. I like the bird backing too.

You have really good taste in fabric. They are relaxing just to LOOK at.

You are having fun with your friend, aren't you? Can't wait to hear about the ooh's and aah's when she opens them.

Thanks! :-)

Celeste--I wrapped 19 packages for her. From fat quarters to 3 yard pieces.... this is going to be fun. :D Pretty fabric makes her cry. Well--the joy it brings her as compared to a difficult student or two, makes her teary. I plan on chasing her blues away for the summer and the whole next year.

What great fabric and what a great person you are for making your friend smile! Fabric does it for me too...ok, and so do your horses, especially Rosie! :)
I just love your quilts, so light and pretty! How can someone NOT love them!
I need to get back in my sewing room and get some things going. Haven't been in there for a week!

AND I have two fully punched cards at the quilt shop--allowing me $20 off my next purchase. WooHoo!!

I should be good to go for awhile. Once those Civil War fabrics come in the mail. My goal is to quilt for a minimum of an hour a day over the summer--hopefully 2+ hours a day!!

I figured it out--I'll have 15 hours a day to accomplish stuff--2-3 hours with horses, 2 hours quilting, I'll will start running 2 miles 5 days a week, housework, a little food prep here and there. This is going to be one awesome summer. :D :D :D :D :D :D

Way to go girlfriend. I'm jealous tho. Horses AND quilting. Geez your life is sooooooo horrible LOL I LOVE HORSES.....

Great job on the quilts Karla. I love the new fabrics you bought. I'm going through withdrawal...haven't had time to shop or quilt since the end of May... ...I'm going to have to use your "therapy" big time!

Your summer sounds like a great plan..hope it all works out for you..Enjoy!

Where in Heavens name did you get the bird/flower fabric for the backing. My eyes couldn't soak up enough of it. What a treat, thanks...

I have a question about washing fat quarters. I just finished ironing my Pinks for the trade. How do you keep them from becoming a tangled mess??????
