    Beautiful colors!

I love doing rag quilts. The best investment I made was buying the scissors for rag quilts. They make it so much easier on your thumb and hand :)

The best combo on these I have found is flannel front and back with wool wadding... sooo light, sooo warm and yet not over warm and very very snuggly.

the snippers are a great investment if you like these.

I always use the stretch stich on my machine when joing the quilted blocks.

I just dyed a bunch of flannel in indigo in varying shades and have planned a raggy quilt to use it all up. I think I am going to quilt some motifs, hearts or something in the blocks rather than cris crossing.

The more you wash these the softer they get but only wash them on thier own. They shed especially on the first wash like crazy. It's worth cleaning out the lint trap on the drier midway through the cycle.

Lovely quilt and a great QAYG method.
