Red face Menopause quilt finished

This was a BOM from my local quilt shop that I finished and gave to my son's girlfriend of 3 years for Christmas.
It was fun to see all the colors pull together.

Beautiful quilt, but why the unusual name?

Very pretty. She must have been very touched that you gave it to her.

I am unaware how it came by the name. That is what the Quilt Shop BOM named it. But it was fun to work on.

I love all the colors! And how you tied the scrappy squares together by using the cream sashing/border on each block, and then adding more fun color to turn the original block on the diagonal. I have just one 12 inch batik block done from my collection of "100 Blocks from today's top designers" mags, and a nice enough variety of smallish amounts of batiks. I'd like to use your idea, please! I hope that your DS's girlfriend appreciates what a treasure you've given her!
