    IMHO I think it needs a "darker" color to frame, finish and stop the eye from going off the edge. It doesn't necessarily have to be red, but something darker than the light green. Even a dark red binding might work. When you look at the light green border only, your eyes wander out away from the edges rather than being contained and directed in towards the design in the center.

    I don't know, i'm even more confused now. :shock:

    Since it is going to be a wall hanging I think to save space I will go with the green outside green boarder and red binding. When I get there I will post a picture. The quilting part is going to be the hard part. I hate the quilting process and can't afford to pay anyone. I wish I could get the hang of free motion.

    Just the green, red, green. Bind it in red if you want. BTW - it is lovely!

    I'm going with the red. You can NEVER have too much red, IMHO.

    If it won't make the hanging too large, add the red border, and bind it in same red.
