I have to agree with the ending it in red is a lot brighter to me than just the green. I vote for the final border being red.

if the last green border is as thick as its going to be then i would have to go with ending in red.

i think the quilt looks better ending with a large outer border - that color really isn't as critical for me - it just needs to be thicker then that green one you're showing.

I like ending with the green and then a thin red binding. I think the extra red border overpowers the inner panel.

I think ending with just green with red binding would let your eye go to the center of the quilt, where the wide red border makes you look everywhere at once.
