You never Know what people throw out. A person from my guild picked up on trash day a fertherweight and a spindel with cabet. All working. The blanket is cute.

Makes me think of that expression, "One person's junk is another's treasure." Good find put to great use! Bev--I know an antiquer (is that a word, lol?) who scouts garbage regularly, calls it "dumpster diving."

Good find!!! I found my DIL tossing out a "cabinet" - one of those things with baskets in it. One of the baskets had been ruined. We were just setting up house again after full-time RVing and I snatched it up. Turned out perfect for the tv and DH put a board across as a shelf where the ruined basket had been....that area holds our DVR and Sat. dish receiver! One of these days, I'm going to stain it darker and add another cabinet next to it!!!

Do you think someone associated the poo in the diapers with the Poo of the Winnie?

Good save, Bev! I was driving down my alley a few months ago and found that a neigbors son was helping to empty out the basement of the house. I got a GREAT antique wooden ironing board, in beautiful condition....I use it at craft shows as a display....and this past weekend it was used to hold the cash register and my sewing machine, so that I could get a little extra work done at the show......
